Cockatoo Easter Egg Hunt

The Cockatoo Easter Egg Hunt is on again!

When:  20 April 2025

•              Check in opens at 8.30, you will be given an egg collecting bag on check in.
•              All children must check in  5 minutes prior to their age group start time. 

Where: Alma Treloar Reserve, Cockatoo 

Who:     Children aged 2 - 11 years of age

Cost:    This event is run free for the community thanks to our supporters;

• Lions Club of Emerald
• IGA Cockatoo 

What:  Children will participate in their age group and collect 5 eggs from the hunting ground, they then bring their eggs to the check in table where we will check they have 5 eggs and they will receive a chocolate bunny.  

• Age group 2 - 5 years start time is 9.00 am 
• Age group 6 - 8 years start time is 9.20 am 
• Age group 9 - 11 years start time is 9.40 am

All you need to do is register each of the children that will be particpating prior to 6pm on 15 April.   If you register and something happens and you cannot attend we would like to know so that we can release your tickets to other children.  Please let us know by emailing connectingcockatootreasurer@gmail.com.  You do not have to bring your tickets to the event.  Each child will need to check in at the event to take part.  

Sometimes asked questions.

My child is 12 and still at primary School can they take part? Yes

Do you have dairy free, vegetarian or vegan chocolate eggs?  Sorry we don't. 

Can adults or anyone help the children? No, we only allow children of the age group on the hunting field.

Do we have an adults race? If there are eggs left over we will have an adults race.
