About This Event
Join the next Eco Koala Gang session to make something New from Old! Children will create a new toy using recycled textiles. Kits will be provided to participants to use as a platform to make their very own unique creations.Â
$2 from the sale of each ticket will be donated to the Tuggeranong Repair Cafe to support their amazing service which is keeping items from entering landfill.Â
The session is run by Local Impact Sustainability and will be held at the next Tuggeranong Repair Cafe event at the Impact Centre, 200 Clive Steele Ave in Monash. Free parking is available outside the building. The session will be held in a room inside the Impact Centre.Â
Eco Koala Gang explores a range of sustainability themes in a series of play-based sessions for kids. Each session will empower your little ones with knowledge that will help them to care for the environment.
Sessions are aimed at 3-6 year olds. Accompanying parents/carers do not need a ticket, but must remain to supervise during the session. Â
We use sustainable resources in our sessions to role model sustainability to children and give ideas for parents and carers. All materials are either second-hand, re-purposed or up-cycled, with the exception of safety equipment only when unavoidable.Â
