This month's Comediasians & Friends night features...

🤣 Improv by Comediasians!

We are the UK's premier pan-Asian improv group, and we're on a mission to bring laughs from the diasporASIA to the UK comedy scene. We do a playful mix of short and long form improv and host a monthly night of Asian comedy in London.

🙋🏽 Improv jam featuring you!

The jam is when anyone in the audience can come up on stage to do improv scenes with the Comediasians cast. All are welcome to participate in the jam, and we especially encourage Asian-identifying people to give it a go.

Nayonica Ghosh

Nayonica Ghosh(she/her),is a stand up comedian, filmmaker and all round language nerd, who has been featured on the BBC, Time Out and Gal-Dem. She most recently made it to the final 10 of the Sky Comedy Rep writing scheme. She was also featured in the comedy tent of The BBC Upload festival (the featured sketch has since been selected for the British Library Lockdown archive) and long listed for the Funny Woman short film award. She has performed around the UK including at Truck Music Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Southwark Playhouse. Her short films and comedy sketches have screened at venues such as BFI Southbank, the Barbican and film festivals internationally. She just completed her comedy micro short 'Bidentity Crisis' with the Roundhouse short film fund/Ex Animo foundation.  

Joshua Bethania

Joshua Bethania is an award-winning standup comedian from India. Joshua has previously won So You Think You're Funny? and was a BBC New Comedy Awards Finalist in 2022. In the same year he also won King Gong at The Comedy Store and became a NATYS Finalist. Also seen on BBC, Channel 4, OFTV and Comedy Central
