North East Indoor Rowing Championship 2024

About This Event

North East Indoors are back! Durham University Boat Club is proud to host the North East Indoor Erg Championships for 2024, part of the BUCS Indoor Series.

Whether you fancy a fun day out with a bit of exercise, or to compete against the regions best, indoors is a spectacluar event for a good cause. As last year, 50% of all ticket sales will be going towards Sport in Action Zambia - an NGO that works with children in Zambia to help provide life opportunities in extreme circumstances.

BUCS Events offered: note sign up for these events must be done via BUCS play before Tuesday 29th October 2024.

Heavyweight Open & Womens 2km; Lightweight Open & Womens 2km; Adaptive Open & Womens 1km; Beginner Open & Womens 1km

Senior Open & Womens 2km; Masters Open & Womens (27 years+) 2km; Junior Open & Womens 1km; Open & Womens 250m sprint (club discount available)

Along with new events, comes new prizes! DUBC is delighted to offer a £100 donation to the overall winning college boat club, along with a case of beers to the winning team in each of the relay competitions! 

For those purchasing bulk ticket deals, we will be in touch the week before the event to confirm names and events entered.

Facilities available: Warm up ergos, changing facilities, free parking, onsite cafe. We look forward to seeing you there! A timetable of events will be published closer to the time, however the BUCS and Senior events are likely to run first, followed by the Junior events, followed by the sprints and relays.
