Meet your host – Kev Kellaway

Raised as a Queenslander, starting my radio career in 1975… I have worked around QLD, NZ, the ACT and have been in Newcastle since 1981, working for three Newcastle stations before joining the team at 2NURFM in 2012. I’m almost a New South Welshman (except at State of Origin time!).

I’ve been very fortunate to have hosted over 200 Novocastrians on previous Helloworld tours, twice though Canada and Alaska, the USA, Europe, Vietnam, and Australia.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you on a tour so many people rave about… Japan. From its beautiful mountains, shrines, temples, magnificent gardens to its impressive and sprawling city skylines... Japan is blend of ancient traditions and technological modern conveniences.
