The Corryong wetlands are situated on the corner of Parish Lane and Strezlecki Street, Corryong. We aim to regenerate this area to form a welcoming environmental awareness wetland and highlight the unique and beautiful Upper Murray Envionment. We have recently planted many trees, added bee hotels, built a walking path and carpark, built fencing to exclued cattle and repaired the Rotary Dam. We have a populaton of native galaxia that are rare. They are protected from predictor fish as Cemetry Creek does not reach the main river.
