The Derwent Valley Horse Riders Association (DVHRA) was formed in mid 1990 and has been based at the Kensington Park Equestrian Centre in New Norfolk since 2000. In 2010 our club published a book to celebrate our 20th anniversary, there is a copy in the clubrooms and members are welcome to have a look to appreciate the history of the club. We are a family friendly club and we welcome riders from ages 5 and up, and all abilities. We pride ourselves on our inclusive and supportive nature. We aim to provide a safe, fun and positive environment to encourage people to ride and enjoy all kinds of activities associated with horses and riding. The Club is managed by a committee, but all members are expected to be actively involved in the running of the club. We are an affiliated club of Equestrian Australia.
