The association was originally incorporated in 2008 as IWIRC (SA) with the aim of providing peer support and educational and networking opportunities for South Australian women working within the insolvency sphere.
Having had minimal involvement with the international body of IWIRC, the association made the decision to change its name to Women’s Insolvency Network South Australia (winSA) which better represents the role and purpose of the association.
The not-for-profit association has seen rapid growth in its memberships and reputation over recent years. The membership base of winSA comprises insolvency professionals from accounting firms, law firms, insurers, auctioneers, lending institutions and government bodies and winSA looks forward to increasing both the magnitude and the diversity of its membership.
The professional organisation of winSA is recognised in South Australia for consistently providing opportunities to its members to advance their technical knowledge in the field of insolvency as well as providing vibrant and accessible forums to increase networking and personal profiling.
